I talked to Plum. She said it was a random choice-- which didn't actually help, but at least I know I didn't get some shitty punishment for something. So next week we might have to see a dog kill someone, or something.

[ What he said shouldn't make her want to laugh, but it does. She hides her smile behind her sleeve. ]

Out of everyone here... you're one of the least offensive. [ In her weird tiers of criteria, anyway. ] If the dog had to do it, I think we'd have a bigger problem.

Plum also told me they cremated the dead so the contamination won't spread.

Asch turned into that because he was infected by the killer, but if we vote incorrectly again they might still turn into something like that regardless. So it's definitely safe to assume we can get it other ways then.

No matter what, some kind of monster has to take form and be killed? That's disgraceful.

We won't know for sure unless a situation like that happens again, but we should be prepared in case it does.

[ ... after the trial on saturday, toi wouldn't be surprised if a lot of people are highly suspicious of her. even besides what occurred at the very end, when people were rushing to see if she did it in order to save asch, she had said some things that gave quite a few people some pause.

but. despite all of that, toi thinks that she's a good person. so he smiles, even if it's only a little. ]
